Aligning the body through dynamic oppositions can make a pose more exhilarating or more quiet, and often both.  Fine tuning poses can bring us into spiritual balance and emotional ease.  Learn ways to work the hips, to keep the energy inside the riverbanks of the body to integrate the spine with the legs and integrate mind, body, and spirit.

We will learn actions in the hips to protect the hips, the lumbar, and the knees in standing poses, forward bends, and backbends. 

Explore the magic of alignment in your own poses and the thrill of seeing it in other's poses.
